There are four main sections in this chapter that we need to cover. The first provides background information to understand what happens next. The second and third section cover the bulk of the material for this unit and reflect the changing world Europe found itself in during the 1300s to 1600s. The final chapter bookends the middle in that it is a further cause of some of what happens but also informs us about the largest political power during the time we are studying in this unit.
